On 6 November 2019 SISSA hosted a round table on “Gender gap in science in Europe and the US”, as part of the conference “A Global Approach to the Gender Gap in Mathematical, Computing, and Natural Sciences: How to Measure It, How to Reduce It?”.
Panelists included Silvana Badaloni (European Platform of Women Scientists), Jean-Pierre Bourguignon (European Research Council president), Katherine Clancy (US National Science Academies), Marie-Françoise Roy (IMU Committee for Women in Mathematics) and Jodi Tims (Association for Computing Machinery).
